The perfect time to reflect on all that’s taken place over these past 365 days.

Was 2021 a good year?

So many memories, seized opportunities, mistakes and learning curves, efforts and accomplishments, goals met, and boxes checked.

It’s been a year of putting our best foot forward. We strove for change, and saw it happen — even if only a little bit at a time. 2021 was filled with small steps, small changes, small decisions — little things adding up to make a big difference.

what’s in store for 2022?

2022 is just around the corner. It’s time to set some new goals. The future seems pretty bright — and we can make it brighter by the choices we make each and every day. So, what goals have you set for the new year? How will you make 2022 outshine 2021?

Let’s share with you some of our steps for the new year.

do better for our planet:

While sustainability and caring for our planet is always at the forefront of our minds, this year, we want to do even better. Our goal is to seek out even more opportunities to make our world a better place. Partnering with sustainable-focused organizations, coordinating sustainable-focused events and projects (more trash cleanups, tree plantings, recycling endeavors, etc.), reduce our carbon footprint even more (go carbon positive?). These are just some leading ideas.

Do better for our farms:

We love partnering with family-owned farms. The farmers do such a good job caring for the hens and helping to produce the best eggs possible. This year, it’s our goal to strengthen our relationship with our farmers. We also want to strive towards better, more regenerative farming practices. After all, so much of what we do starts at the farm. By developing a stronger partnership with our farmers, helping them to farm in the most sustainable way possible, and spending more time in the field with them and the hens, 2022 will be a year full of growth.

Do better for you:

This year — like every year before — you are our focus. Caring lovingly for our hens to bring you the most ethical, tasty egg possible is what we’re all about. What you eat and where you get your food matters. This coming year, helping you (as well as our hens) along the journey is so important. 2022 will be a year of taking all necessary steps to make sure that you don’t have to compromise on your ethics, diet, nutrition, or taste when it comes to the eggs you buy. We commit this year to bringing you eggs that you can get behind, a brand and movement you can trust. We’re looking forward to our journey ahead!

So, it’s time to close the door on the past and step into the future.

Take everything we’ve learned and make it count. Let’s all commit to making small steps, small decisions, small changes. Because, after all, it’s the little things we do each and every day that add up to a change for a better world.
